The study of science is presented in three parts and starts with the creation story when the child first hears that when the earth was first created, it moved a certain way and was shaped in a certain way. The child also learns how seasons originated, how day and night arise and all other science. Science is encouraged with hands-on observations and experiments. The child is taught to think scientifically by being introduced to The Scientific Method. Once a year, the upper elementary children take part in a school Science Fair, where they choose experiments to work on and present to their parents, relatives and friends.
