After School Programs
The Arborland Education Center offers group instruction in chess, robotics, gymnastics, swimming, martial arts and tennis, as well as private lessons in swimming and tennis. All of these after school programs are year-round, meaning, they continue through Summer unless you withdraw your child (except Academic Chess and Swimming). Besides learning the basic rules of chess, children are taught techniques that make use of their strategy and problem-solving skills, as well as improve their concentration. Academic Chess is offered during the school year in three sessions. Each session is eight weeks long, culminating in a class tournament. Ages 5 years and up.

Our Robotics program will introduce students to basic programming as well as problem solving strategies. This class will involve students in the development, building and programming of a robot. Students will work hands-on in teams to design, build, program and document their progress. Lessons are taught according to each child’s skill level. Ongoing class throughout the school year. Open to 1st-7th grade students.

Gymnastics is a great way to enhance your child’s dexterity and improve their motor skills. The class is open to both boys and girls for ages 4 years and up.

We have a beautiful indoor pool perfect for young children to get comfortable in the water, and learn different kinds of swim techniques. During the school year, swimming is held after regular school hours from 3:00-6:30 pm. In the summer, class time slots start as early as 9:00 am until closing. Ages 4 and up for group lessons; any child below 4 years needs to be in a semi-private or private lesson.
Tennis classes are held on our on-campus tennis court. The instructor provides group and private instruction. Ages 4 and up.

Piano, vocal, drums and keyboard classes are available for your children. During the school year, classes occur after school from 3:00-6:30pm. In the summer, classes open up to earlier class times. These classes enhance your child’s musical skills in a variety of areas. For ages 4 and up.

We offer a wide range of dance classes including ballet, jazz, and tap. Students ages 3 and up can learn coordination, stage performance, strength, and flexibility all while becoming confident in themselves.
